“no, not.”

HE says:
At no point did she clearly and unambiguously say “no” to any action.

Successful woman meets successful man. They begin an affair. Both are married and have children. After a few years they decide to part on friendly terms, but a short time later chance brings them back together. They have sex again. This was not consensual, she says. That is not true, he says. Who is telling the truth? Will the court case shed light on this?

After the two extremely successful productions Terror and God, the Kammerspiele are opening the season with the premiere of another courtroom drama written by Ferdinand von Schirach. Once again the author is dealing with a highly controversial topic. This time he is examining the question of whether and to what extent current legislation is sufficient to legally judge sexual assault. In the public eye, an acquittal or the dismissal of such proceedings is often seen as an indication that the victim has lied. One can recall the recent sensational trial of Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard, for example. The fundamental problem, however, is that the court does not have to judge what actually happened, but only what can be proven.
