Schönbrunn Palace Concerts
Schönbrunn Palace is an absolute fixed point for tourists on a trip to the capital city of Vienna. Since 1997 the Schönbrunn Palace concerts in over 8,000 concerts have inspired more than 2.5 million tourists with the classical music of Vienna.
Due to the current situation, we as a traditional Viennese institution have adapted our product for the home public under the motto "Viennese cosiness" - special times also require special ideas!
Balsam for the soul is the new offer "Viennese Music & Wine" in which from 1 July 2020 under the motto "Viennese Comfort" both the palate with local wines and the ears with traditional, lively and romantic Viennese entertainment music from 1850- 1950 will spoil you!
A charming moderator will guide you through the evening in the Orangery Schönbrunn, the original location of the famous musical competition between Salieri and Mozart in 1786. With music by the composers Robert Stolz, Heinrich Strecker, Hermann Leopoldi, Franz Lehar, Carl Michael Ziehrer and Johann Strauss and others your guests can forget their worries and escape everyday life!
The duration of the concert evening is approx. 1h 45 minutes, including a break.
Program Sequence:
7:30 p.m. Admission & start of wine & beverage service
Allocation of seats within the booked category
8:30 p.m. Concert begins in the Orangery Schönbrunn
approx. 10:15 p.m. concert end
At the end of the concert, sufficient taxis are available in front of the entrance to the Schönbrunn Orangery. The subway runs continuously until midnight in five to eight minute intervals.
