Ballet: The Lady of the Camellias - Schedule, Program & Tickets

Ballet: The Lady of the Camellias

based on the novel "La dame aux camélias" by Alexandre Dumas the Younger

Content:
An estate is being auctioned off. It is the remains of a glamorous possession belonging to one of the most dazzling women in 19th century Paris: the courtesan Marguerite Gautier. Armand Duval is also there.

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the auction and under the gaze of the curious onlookers, his memories overwhelm him, as it was with him that Marguerite discovered true love. They spent a summer in the countryside, far away from the Parisian demi-monde, living a life full of happiness. But for Armand, the family's honor was at stake. And without knowing that his father was forcing Marguerite to do so, he had to watch as his lover returned to her old life - and ultimately perished because of it.
