In the summer months, the Berliner Residenz concerts have been presenting inspiring and varied Mozart programs for years. For a good reason: had the genius from Salzburg in 1789 but personally visited the Charlottenburger Hof. Following the audience-honored formats "Mozart's Masterpieces" and "Mozart's Opera Gala", a concert performance will now follow around the musical friendship between J.C. Bach and W.A. Mozart. Wunderkind Wolfgang had met the London Bach at the age of 8 years in the British capital and intensively studied and developed the gallant style of Bach's son. Johann Christian Bach is regarded as the inventor of the Viennese Classic, which made Mozart immortal until our days.
