At Prince Orlovsky's masked ball, a certain gentleman, now called Doctor Bat, causes chaos. Stray husbands are sentenced to prison terms, wives itch, betray their husbands, and budding starlets appear in disguise. The hijinks and parties end in a prison yard, but this is where the laughter really starts! This full-length opera filled with champagne is the masterpiece of Johann Strauss and without a doubt the crowning glory of the winter holidays. Doctor Bat and his friends have a hell of a New Year's ball in store!
