Content:
The young Prince Tamino receives a mission from the Queen of the Night to rescue her daughter Pamina - with whom he falls in love at the sight of a portrait - from the clutches of Sarastro.

He sets off on a journey with Papageno. In the course of his adventure, Tamino recognizes Sarastro's goodness. He passes several tests and is rewarded with being able to take Sarastro's place together with Pamina. Papageno also finds a partner who suits him: Papagena.
