History of the Vienna Baroque Orchestra

In the heart of Vienna, where the mighty Field Marshal Adam Graf Batthyány once resided, is still one of the architectural masterpieces of the Viennese Baroque era, the Schönborn-Batthyány Palace. Built in 1699 according to the designs of Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach, architect of the Karlskirche in Vienna, the baroque building takes you straight away into the time of lavish splendor.
